How do I connect my social accounts?

Connect your account once and CutPro posts and schedules your clips for you. It never asks for your password.

Updated October 11, 2026

In short: open the connections area, pick the network and sign in on its own site. CutPro never asks for your password. If an account drops, just connect it again.

With no account connected, you download the clip and post it by hand. With the account connected, CutPro posts and schedules for you.

How to connect

  1. Open the connections area.
  2. Pick the network you want to connect.
  3. Sign in to your account on the network's own site.
  4. Approve CutPro's access.

Done. CutPro never asks for your password. That goes for every network, Bluesky too.

Three networks work a bit differently

  • Car.Media: you paste your channel's access code. You create that code in the Car.Media partner dashboard.
  • Telegram: here you connect a channel or group, not your account. Make the CutPro bot an admin that can post. Then enter the channel's @ or link.
  • Mastodon: first type your server's address, for example mastodon.social. Then approve the access there.

Which networks publish today

Publishing now: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Pinterest, Car.Media, Telegram, Mastodon, Discord, Dailymotion, Tumblr and Slack.

Listed as "coming soon": YouTube. It's on the list, but it doesn't publish yet.

Connect but never publish: Twitch and Kick. They let CutPro follow your streams. See live monitoring.

What each network needs

Sometimes connecting fails because your account is missing something. Check:

  • Instagram: it must be a Professional account (Creator or Business). A personal account can't post through CutPro.
  • Facebook: you need a Page. A personal profile alone won't work.
  • YouTube: you need a channel created on the account.
  • Bluesky: confirm your email so you can upload video.
  • Pinterest: you need a board to receive the pin.
  • Telegram: you need a channel or group with the CutPro bot as an admin. A private chat won't work.
  • Discord: you need permission to add the bot to the server. You also need a text or announcement channel for the post.
  • Slack: you need permission to install apps in the workspace. To post in a private channel, add the Cut.Pro app to that channel first.

My Instagram stopped posting

This happens when the account goes back to personal. To fix it:

  1. Open the Instagram app.
  2. Switch the account back to Professional.
  3. Connect the account again in CutPro.

My TikTok post went out as "Only me"

It's not your mistake. TikTok is still reviewing the CutPro app. Until then, TikTok only allows posting as "Only me". You can't change this. The screen warns you before you publish.

The network shows as blocked

Your plan sets how many accounts you can connect on each network. It also sets which networks are unlocked. If a network shows as blocked, your current plan doesn't include it. See what changes between the plans.

Good news: connecting Instagram and TikTok for championships is free on any plan. It covers up to 3 accounts per network.

My account disconnected

Network permissions run out on their own from time to time. They also drop when you:

  • change the network password;
  • turn on a new verification step on the network;
  • remove CutPro's access in the network's settings.

To see the accounts that dropped, look for the Disconnected accounts block. It shows since when the account is down. It also shows how many scheduled posts will fail if you don't reconnect.

You also get an email. But only if the account is in use, meaning something is scheduled or it posted in the last 30 days.

To fix it:

  1. Open the Disconnected accounts block.
  2. Connect the account again, the same way as the first time.

Nothing is lost. Your schedules, flows and history all stay.

If a post already failed because of this, it isn't resent on its own. See a post failed to publish.
